To my knowledge, this is the only Hardees left in the La Crosse area. Great food- however, like I posted earlier, sometimes the service is not all that you might want it to be (they use high school teens, first job, etc) but the burgers (especially the THICKBURGERS) are the best in the fast-food industry. My personal favorite is the "monster" thick-burger, and a chocolate shake (which they top with lots of whipping cream, fyi). I can only eat here once a month or so, because the food is so rich and calorie-laden, but it is always one of my favorite meals. I hope Hardees survives in this changing economy- they are a blast back to the past, when "fast food" was fresh, hot and really tasted good, not like the factory-line produced dreck we see in some other places today. If you're in the mood for a decent "fast-food" like burger, this would be my first choice. Only one suggestion- take the time to stop in and eat at a table. The burgers are big, thick and juicy. If you eat in the car, you're sure to spill something on your shirt. Take the time to eat it slow, in my opinion, it is well worth it.

Not worth the money. If you're gonna spend $10 for a burger, fries and a drink, you might as well go to a place and sit down that's nicer than say....a Hardee's. Good food, friendly staff, just prices not comparable to the quality of food.

Great atmosphere and actually very clean! There is always someone tidying up every few minutes and the service is good and they actually check in on you to see how your doing while your eating which is something you rarely see at fast food restaurants and the staff seems to have built relationships with the regular customers which is pretty cool!
